Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our team as a Junior Visual Designer. The ideal candidate will ensure that all elements of the online user experience are optimized for improved usability, clarity of communication, and exceptional visual design to drive conversion and retention. The SmartMedia Stack, including our proprietary NFT and Web3 design studio, powers SmartMedia Technologies’ end-to-end solution to drive first-party data acquisition, user engagement and loyalty across a digital and mobile-first audience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets
  • Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand – and applying this thinking to web content, email marketing, display advertising, social content and more
  • Producing high quality UI design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, user flows, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes 
  • Build storyboards to conceptualize designs and convey project plans to senior level clients  
  • Eagerness to learn our proprietary platform & build live campaigns 
  • We are innovating every day. Team members must be comfortable/willing to be uncomfortable in unknown territory, be willing to try new things, ideate and problem-solve together 
  • Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user

Education, Experience and Training:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of design experience for digital products and services
  • A portfolio of work for both web and mobile platforms
  • Experience presenting design ideas to internal team members, peers and/or clients
  • Enthusiasm about working collaboratively with remote teams in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to take direction and shift gears quickly 
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics
  • Eagerness and dedication to troubleshooting, problem solving, learning through trial and error
  • Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Element 3D, Figma etc.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
